Our Vision
A world where everyone has a decent place to live.
Our Mission
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln County brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
What We Do
Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln County works toward our vision by building strength, stability and self-reliance in partnership with families in need of decent and affordable housing. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage.
We also provide home repairs for low-income families, focusing on safety, accessibility, and home preservation. Clients pay a portion of material costs, with a sliding scale based on income.
We engage with volunteers and secure donated or discounted materials and services whenever possible. This helps us keep costs low and maximize the benefit of donor support.
Our ReStores perform a valuable community service by diverting large amounts of reusable materials from landfills, and providing these products to the public at a fraction of the cost.
Habitat for Humanity’s Non-proselytizing Policy

Nor will HFHLC work with entities or individuals who insist on proselytizing as part of their work with HFHLC. This means that HFHLC will not offer assistance on the expressed or implied condition that people must adhere to or convert to a particular faith or listen and respond to messaging designed to induce conversion to a particular faith.
